"January"
"January" Teaser 1
The warm air from the fire felt amazing on my skin and I spread my legs further, arching my hips and letting the warmth move across every inch of my body. I could feel the chill when I opened myself up more, the simple feeling of wet skin being exposed to air, and I wondered if he was watching me get acclimated or if he had moved farther away to do something else for his plans. The right side of my body, closest to the fire, was so hot. The left side was receiving more of the cool air radiating from the windows. I ran my hands up my sides to feel the contrast in temperature with my fingers.
One breast was warm, one was cooler. I wanted Edward to feel me, to see how amazing it was to notice such simple sensations.
"Edward..." I whispered, smiling. I couldn't wait to feel his hands on me like this.

"January" Teaser 2
"Firewood," I reminded him before we walked inside, pointing to the shed at the end of the drive. "We used the last log this morning."
He looked at me and smirked, teasing, "Well, it's getting dark. You'd better get on that, Missy."
I giggled. "What, and ruin this manicure? Never."
"You're lucky it's constitutionally impossible for me to let you do such chores," he said, shaking his head and turning down the driveway. "You got off easy with this no-cooking, no-children vampire thing. None of the woman's work remains."
I heard the tone of his voice and the expectant smile. I'm sure, however, that he didn't expect the snowball to hit him so hard and so precisely on the back of his head.
Thank you so much Lola for the exclusive teaser.
